Tour of Britain Cycle Race 2024
Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race (Derby - Newark on Trent) will be passing through West Hallam on Friday 6 September.

West Hallam Community Speedwatch Launches
Great news for the many residents who have been complaining about the speed of some motorists in and around West Hallam.
The Parish Council has purchased the equipment necessary to set up our Community Speed Watch. We have a volunteer co-ordinator, Rob Hare and we have several volunteers who have had training. The first two speedwatches took place on Saturday 1st June with the Police in attendance.... Read More »

May is National Walking Month
May is National Walking Month, and the Wellbeing and Culture Team has set up an 85-mile walking challenge to promote more everyday walking.
All you need to do is to walk approximately 2.74 miles each day which will take about an hour to complete. Alternatively, for those who have less free time, just halve it, and do 1.37 miles a day which is about 30 minutes of walking a day.
