West Hallam Parish Council consists of 9 councillors who serve a four year term. Our councillors are all elected or co-opted onto the Council. All Councillors are voluntary and receive no payment whatsoever.

The Parish Council holds monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month (unless its a bank holiday then the meeting moves to the second Monday). No meeting is held in August. Meetings are usually held at the Powtrell Community Pavilion, Pavilion Court, starting at 7.00pm. A very warm welcome is extended to all parishioners.
Each meeting starts with a public open session where residents can raise any matters directly with the Parish Council.
